Erro ao rodar apt-get update

Quando executo o comando apt-get update num determinado momento os downloads dos pacotes quando chega no endereço "Get:16 http://extra.linuxmint.com rebecca/main " fica demorando e não realiza o download, sendo apresentado o seguinte erro

A principio eu pensava que era problemas em minha rede na resolução DNS mais não foi.
Algúém estar com esta dificuldade ?

Ja tentou mudar os repositorios para outro, algum nacional por exemplo.

Estou utilizando o repositório nacional (UFPR) e por aqui está tudo ok, sem qualquer problema.

O meu apresenta o seguinte erro quando vou rodar o Update ou instalação de qualquer pacote.

Já tentei os outros passos ditos anteriormente, até mesmo o de mudar para um local mais próximo.
Além de não atualizar, não consigo mais instalar nenhum outro pacote.

Definitivamente, vou ter que reinstalar o Mint. Nada funcionou.
