wifi ativo mas não lista redes

Boa noite,
meu notebook HP com Mint 18 estava funcionando normalmente mais cedo, e agora não conecta no wifi. O wifi está ativo mas não lista as redes. Procurei post semelhantes e não encontrei uma solução, mas usei os comandos sugeridos nos posts e postei abaixo para me ajudarem a entender o que pode estar acontecendo.

  • Resolvido! Com este post eu executei os seguintes comandos e funcionou:

    #nmcli dev wifi
    (listou as redes acessiveis)

    #nmcli dev wifi connect SSID-DA-REDE-DESEJADA

    pediu a senha e conectou
